On March 14 2021, the Canberra Transport Museum partook in the 2021 Rise Above Cancer Convoy. On the same day after the convoy, CTM conducted a short tour around Central Canberra, tracing several former bus routes.

For these events, the museum was represented by PR180.2 BUS 717 and PR100.2 BUS 967, both of which had been specially detailed for the event by LMS Detailing. It was originally planned to also feature PR100.3 BUS 108, however this vehicle suffered a mechanical failure a few weeks prior to the convoy.

The convoy also featured approximately 500 trucks and motorbikes, as well as a handful of buses from Qcity Transit.

The tour conducted in the afternoon was conducted in a COVID-safe way and carried around 20-30 passengers across the two vehicles.

The buses travelled from the City to Fadden via former route 717 (to celebrate the acquisition of BUS 717), then to the soon to be demolished Woden Interchange, up Black Mountain to Telecom Tower, through the Australian National University and to the various terminii of Watson.
